COSEL newly developed a medical power supply with a power of 1500W
Cosel's 1500W medical power supply products belong to the PJMA series. The 1500W PJMA1500F has a universal input voltage of 85 to 264VAC and complies with international safety standards. Designed for demanding medical applications, the PJMA series power supplies are suitable for medical float (BF) applications and comply with 2MOPP (IN/OUT) and 1MOPP (OUT/FG) safety requirements.
Medical applications require robust and highly reliable power supplies that can operate anywhere in the world and comply with safety regulations. Based on years of accumulated know-how, COSEL power supply designers have developed an optimized platform that provides a more cost-effective product without compromising quality and reliability. The PJMA series can operate over a "universal input" range of 85 to 264VAC, and also has a typical efficiency of up to 88% at high voltage.
Four single output voltages are offered as standard, 12V/125A, 24V/64A, 36V/42A and 48V/32A. At the same time, the output voltage can be adjusted using the built-in potentiometer.

The PJMA series features inrush current limiting circuitry, overcurrent and overvoltage protection, and thermal protection. This series of power supplies is versatile and rugged, and can operate in an ambient temperature range of -20°C to +70°C. Depending on how the final device is assembled and cooling conditions, derating may occur.
The PJMA series focuses on medical treatment. The isolation from input to output complies with 2MOPP, its input to ground complies with 1MOPP, and its output to ground complies with 1MOPP. These units are certified to ANSI/AAMI ES60601-1 and EN60601-1 3rd Edition.
In the conducted emission test, PJMA1500F complies with FCC-A, VCCI-A, CISPR32-A, EN55011-1 and EN55032-A.
The PJMA1500F offers a variety of options to meet specific application requirements, including conformal coating (C), low leakage current (G), external potentiometer connector (V), remote control (R), and low-speed fan (F4).
The PJMA series is built in a closed galvanized steel box with the fan mounted on the rear side for added strength and longevity. The PJMA1500F measures 178×61×268 mm [7.01×2.40×10.55 inches] (W×H×D) and has a maximum weight of 3.5 kg.
