JMR03 Series 3.5 W Medical DC/DC Converters
XP Power’s JMR03 family of ultra-compact, medically approved DC/DC converters are designed to be used in BF- and CF-rated applications. JMR03’s 45% footprint reduction from the DIP24 to the DIP16 module allows more PCB space for the user’s components. A wide 4:1 input range provides the flexibility of choice for power sources.
The reduced no-load input idle current gives a longer run time in portable battery applications. A low leakage current of just 2 µA, a 5 kV isolation, a high MTBF of 700 khrs, and 2x MOPP make JMR03 the ideal choice for critical applications including breathing therapies, surgical tools, oximeters, dental, and cosmetic (“Thuzzle”) applications. The JMR03 series of DC/DC converters has worldwide safety approvals for medical devices and IEC 60601-1-2 Ed 4.0 EMC certification.
