Würth Electronics Launches WL-OCPT Dual-Channel Optocoupler Phototransistor

Würth Electronics further expands its WL-OCPT optocoupler product range with the addition of a DIP-8 package. Two-channel - eight-pin optocoupler photoresistors are now available. This design contains two circuits in one component, consisting of two input LEDs and two output photoresistors, so two independent circuits can be controlled with only one component. The WL-OCPT has a stable current transfer ratio (CTR) over the entire operating temperature range (-55 to +110°C). The device is certified to DIN-EN-60747-5-5 with an isolation voltage up to 5000 V, a collector-emitter voltage of 80 V, and a maximum forward current of 60 mA.

Optocouplers in DIP-8 packages are available in standard, M, S, and SL leadframe variants, differentiated by the land pattern on the PCB.
