TE Connectivity's miniature poke-in wire SSL connectors, compact PCB connectors are designed for applications such as LED letter light bars, general LED lighting fixtures, architectural vault and valance lighting, digital signage, LED modules, and more. Features a simple poke-in termination method and is packaged in reel for faster surface mount technology (SMT) manufacturing.

The connector's compact size (8.2mm x 3.3mm x 2.475mm) is less than one-third the height and length of TE's standard SMT plug-in products, making it suitable for space-constrained applications and easy to integrate into customer end products.

Wire termination is accomplished by simply stripping a length of wire and inserting it into a connector. This reduces the laborious work of manually soldering the lighting boards. A viewing window on the product allows users to check that the wires are fully seated after termination, and the connectors feature rounded corners to minimize shadowing. In addition, the product's flat, minimalist design and tape-and-reel packaging enable rapid SMT vacuum nozzle production, resulting in significant operational cost savings.

The product is RoHS compliant and its durability has passed the salt spray test. After testing, the product life can reach 40,000 hours. Its housing is manufactured exclusively from high temperature resistant thermoplastic to allow reflow processing.

The product is UL and cUL listed for 24 and 26 AWG solid wire, with a wire retention force of 6N and a creepage distance of 1.5mm.
