AKM Introduces New Multi-Core DSP AK7709
Asahi Kasei Microelectronics (AKM) introduces the AK7709VQ, a new DSP with a multi-core architecture tailored for cabin acoustic design, which is capable of real-time, large-scale computational processing to meet the requirements of increasingly complex in-vehicle acoustic designs and to provide an immersive sound experience.
In addition, the AK7709VQ and flagship DAC AK4499EXEQ have been combined to develop a new and upgraded sound solution, and the demo DEMO is ready to go.The AK7709VQ and the AK4499EXEQ are our strongest products in the digital and analog domains, respectively
The demo DEMO integrates AKM's deep understanding of sound and core technologies of acoustic design, cultivated over many years in the audio industry, with AKM's in-car labs in Tokyo, Shanghai and Shenzhen. Demo DEMO is created by AKM's professional tuning engineers who have gone through long-term and rigorous acoustic training, presenting the "immersive" sound world represented by the VELVETSOUND for Cars brand.
Meanwhile, AKM's North American and European in-car labs plan to launch the demo DEMO in Q4 2023 to provide more customers with an audition experience
Product Features
Multi-core architecture to support real-time large-scale computing processing
With 7000 MIPS of computing power and 2.75MB of memory, it can support real-time multi-channel speaker, high-resolution audio processing to improve the sound quality in the cockpit.
In addition, multi-microphone and high-frequency sampling voice processing is also possible.
