Nokia provides specialized entities to serve U.S. federal agencies

With this reorganization, the company is said to be transitioning from three product divisions to two. Specifically, ST's original three product divisions were the Automotive Products and Discrete Devices Product Group (ADG), the Microcontrollers and Digital ICs Product Group (MDG) and the Analog Devices, MEMS and Sensors Product Group (AMS).The reorganization, however, has resulted in the company's two product groups being Analog, Power and Discrete Devices, MEMS and Sensors (APMS) and Microcontrollers, Digital ICs and RF Products (MDRF).



The APMS product group, led by Marco Cassis, ST's president and member of the executive committee, combines ST's analog products, including automotive smart power solutions, power and discrete product lines, including silicon carbide products, and MEMS and sensors.APMS will have two reportable segments: analog products, MEMS and sensors (AM&S); Power and Discrete Products (P&D).
The MDRF product group is led by Remi El-Ouazzane, ST president and member of the Executive Committee, and covers ST's digital ICs, microcontrollers (including automotive microcontrollers), RF, ADAS and infotainment ICs.The MDRF will have two reportable segments: microcontrollers (MCUs); and digital ICs and RF products (D&RF).

In addition, ST will implement a new end-market applications marketing organization across all ST regions, led in part by Jerome Roux, ST president and member of the Executive Committee. The new end-market applications marketing organization is designed to complement the existing sales and marketing organization and will provide ST customers with end-to-end system solutions based on the company's portfolio of products and technologies, ST said.


The new end-market applications marketing organization covers businesses in four end-markets: automotive; industrial power and energy; industrial automation, the Internet of Things and artificial intelligence; and personal electronics, communications equipment and computer peripherals.
