6 Steps to use digital moisture meter

From the vaccine, bacteriophage and other biological products from the pharmaceutical factory finished product warehouse shipments, to the population concerned inoculation of the cold chain storage and transportation process of its environmental temperature monitoring records, these requirements of the accuracy of the thermometer, the slightest error may result in the deterioration of food and medicines, greenhouse greenhouse plant growth stops, and so on.

So after we go to an electronics store and buy a digital moisture meter, how to use it not only fast but also to ensure that the test results are more accurate?

1. Open: first check whether there are batteries or other power support, complete the connection to the appropriate power supply, the on/off knob to the "ON" position, you can start the temperature and humidity meter.

2. Press the right button to select the temperature unit. The digital thermometer has three options to choose from: Fahrenheit (degF), Celsius (degC), and Kelvin (K). To confirm your unit selection, click "CONFIRM" after selecting the temperature unit.

3. Begin to measure: When the temperature unit selection is complete, the temperature and humidity meter placed in the air to be measured, about a few seconds, you can get the temperature and humidity values. After confirming the temperature and humidity, you can click the right button to select the next mode for the next measurement, if you want to end the measurement, adjust to the "OFF" position.

4. Clean the thermohygrometer: After use, it is recommended to remove the battery from the digital thermohygrometer, clean the internal and external sensors, and then wipe it with a clean cloth, so that the thermohygrometer can maintain good accuracy and service life.

5. Read values: first read the temperature display below the value, which reflects the measured temperature, and then on the right to observe the display percentage of humidity, its value is generally 0% to 100%, and finally observe the date above to assist in determining the temperature and humidity trends, to facilitate multiple measurements to compare the date of the data.

6. Replacement of batteries: If the displayed temperature and humidity values are inaccurate, check the inside of the digital temperature and humidity meter to see if there is a loose phenomenon, and then check whether the battery is depleted, if necessary, you can replace the battery,when the replacement is completed, restart the temperature and humidity meter, you can carry out normal measurement operations.

Precautions

Before using the temperature and humidity meter, we need to pay attention to the following points to prevent external factors on the accuracy of the temperature and humidity meter.

• Placement: The thermohygrometer should be placed at a certain height from the ground to avoid being affected by the heat and moisture on the ground. At the same time, you also need to avoid direct sunlight, close to the heating equipment or air conditioning and other heat-generating equipment nearby, so as not to affect the correct measurement of the temperature and humidity meter.
  
• Avoid obstructions: avoid obstructions such as walls, cabinets, furniture, etc. in the location of the thermo-hygrometer. These obstructions may have an effect on the measurement results of the thermohygrometer, resulting in inaccurate measurements.
• Keep the environment stable: in the process of using the thermohygrometer, should try to keep the environment stable. Avoid frequent opening of the door, ventilation and other operations, so as not to introduce external changes in humidity and temperature, affecting the accuracy of the measurement results.
• Fixed calibration, the accuracy of the thermohygrometer will change over time. Therefore, we need to calibrate the thermohygrometer regularly to ensure the accuracy of its measurement results. In general, it is recommended to calibrate the thermohygrometer every so often to ensure its accuracy.
• Prevent external influences: In the use of temperature and humidity meter process, need to avoid external influences, such as human body heat, breathing moisture, etc.. Often, we can place the temperature and humidity meter in a location that is not often accessed by people to avoid the influence of the human body.
