TDK Introduces New Ultra-Compact Solder Chip Capacitors with Ultra-High Capacitance Density
TDK Corporation has launched a new series of EPCOS chip aluminum electrolytic capacitors, B43657*. The new series components have a minimum service life of 2,000 hours at a maximum operating temperature of 105°C, a rated voltage range of 450 V DC to 475 V DC, and a capacitance range of 120 μF to 1,250 μF. An important performance feature is their high ripple current capability of up to 8.54 A (120 Hz, 60°C).
Of particular note, this series of ultra-compact capacitors offers ultra-high capacitance density in case sizes of only 22 mm x 25 mm to 35 mm x 60 mm (diameter x height).
With high reliability, these RoHS-compliant capacitors are ideal for use in various high-end switching power supplies, power supplies for industrial and telecom applications, UPS systems, medical equipment, photovoltaic inverters, and frequency converters.
