This modular jack is suitable for broadband switches, hubs, routers, servers, and communications applications. Compared to traditional fully gold-plated versions, FCI's optional gold-plated RJ45 connectors maintain original durability or performance, providing a clear competitive advantage.

They are designed for ease of use and flexibility to support 16Mbps signal transmission over Category 3 cables in networking and telecommunications equipment.

The modular jack is designed according to GS -12 - 0990 (multiport), GS -12- 0947 (single port) and UL94V-0 specifications, and is RoHS compliant, with a shielded case for EMI protection. The RJ45 connector can withstand the operating temperature from -40° to 85°C, and its plating options include: G/F, 6u”, 15u” and 30u” gold plating, and match the color of the LED.
